Project name: Environmental solutions and innovation platform
Goal: to create an automated contactless solution for monitoring the quality of the environment (indoor air) and sanitary conditions in Ventspils preschool and general education institutions.
Customer: Ventspils Municipality
As part of the project in 2020, nineteen schools and kindergartens in Ventspils were equipped with the Aspired CO2 sensor and monitoring system which included ~500 wireless sensors, base stations, visualization screens, 450 tablet screens, as well as one sensor data collection station (database), which ensures further transfer of data from the sensors to the data collection and analysis system, where the data is stored for up to 10 years.
The implemented solution provided monitoring of CO2 and sanitary conditions in the educational institutions, and ensured that automatic notifications are sent to the persons responsible (educators and other employees) in case any action is required. To this date the system operational and carries out the accumulation and analysis of data.
